This Amber Ale made in New Zealand for Aldi stores pours a light brown colour with nice bubbles that keep going while you drink and a small head which lingers and produces nice lacing. It smells of sweet malt with a hit of banana and it tastes sweet, malty and almost fruity with a small bitterness to balance it out. It’s flavours however well balanced are unremarkable. It is no craft beer, but what it lacks in character it makes up for in good engineering. It is a well balanced and refreshing beer… I’ll have another.
Kiwi beer!!!!
